One must realize that sustained poverty reduction and achievement of highest medium-term growth rate in India are only possible when there is a paradigm change in its approach towards the unemployed youth. 

Amongst 1.25 billion population of our country 65% is of working age.  India’s population will continue to grow beyond and these trends are likely to persist well in the future. According to a reliable survey, 58% of Indian companies are facing severe shortage of skilled and competent manpower for their job vacancies. 

In line with the research conducted by our volunteers, most of the unemployed youth are unaware about the available employment opportunities and at times they lack the required readiness to grab the jobs. In order to bridge these gaps, Vekuva has taken up the objective of supporting and guiding unemployed youth to found their niche.
